How Le'an Aliyah works
A walkthrough of every step, from account creation to sharing your board.
1. Create an account
Sign up with email and password or with Google at /auth/signup. A free account lets you add one community to your board. Adding more requires the one-time $9.99 lifetime purchase.
2. Add a community
Open /app and use the search bar to add a community. You can search by name (e.g. "Modiin", "Beit Shemesh") or browse the map. Le'an Aliyah supports 200+ Israeli communities, including cities, moshavim, and yishuvim.
3. Score your factors
Each community on your board has a list of factors (e.g. Commute, Schools, Housing, Anglo Presence). Score each factor from 0 to 10 using the slider. Factors with objective data sources (see the Methodology page) are pre-populated automatically.
Reorder factors by dragging. The order determines weight — factors at the top count more toward the overall score.
4. Compare communities
Open the Comparison view to see all communities side-by-side. The overall score is a weighted average, calculated as described in Methodology. Use the "Customize rows" button to toggle or reorder which factors appear.
5. Share your board
Paid users can share a read-only board with family via a share link. The recipient does not need a paid account to view it, but they cannot edit unless they upgrade.
6. Export a PDF
Use the Export button in the Comparison view to download a printable PDF containing your scores, factor weights, and community data (population, schools, age distribution).
Account management
Manage your plan, view receipts, or restore a previous purchase from the Account page. Reset your password from /auth/forgot-password.
